For the Day of the City of Kragujevac, Marija Šerifović performed a concert that brought together music, emotion, and the collective energy of the city. Held on May 9th, the evening became more than a public performance — it became a shared moment for the people of Kragujevac.
Our role was to capture the atmosphere of the concert through photography and video, focusing not only on the performance itself, but on everything surrounding it: the anticipation before the first song, the connection between the artist and the audience, the lights moving through the crowd, and the emotional moments that made the night feel alive.
Marija's presence on stage carries a rare kind of intensity. Her performance is powerful, direct, and deeply emotional, which allowed us to approach the project with a more cinematic and documentary perspective. We wanted the visuals to reflect both the scale of the event and the intimacy of the music — the big crowd, but also the small gestures, expressions, and moments of silence between songs.
Documenting a concert like this means moving with the rhythm of the night. Every frame depends on timing — the light, the movement, the emotion, the reaction of the audience. Our goal was to preserve the energy of the event in a way that feels authentic, dynamic, and true to the atmosphere of the evening.
